General Information

The President Hotel with its wealthy heritage and Art Deco spell, planned by L. Murray Dixon, is a pleasant, non-smoking, shop hotel under Swiss Management. Planned by L. Murray Dixon, the guesthouse showcases 1930s classic Art Deco elements varying from patterned terrazo floors and framed windows to recessed corners and wrought iron railing and was recently repaired by a French designer. The guesthouse is comfortably situated only one block from the coast and near a lot of of the area's popular boutiques, clubs, and restaurants.

Aside from being roomy and cosy, the hotel's crisp and calm apartments are an aesthetic treat, every with a pleasing green and white colour scheme. Every room is equipped with one wall absolutely covered with a picture portraying green elements of nature. Tile flooring and high-thread-count linens able to be found in every suite, in addition to Czechoslovakian crystal chandeliers that add a touch of elegance. All suites were refurbished in 2008 and are equiped with all the comforts demanded by today's traveler including flat-screen TVs and WiFi I-net connectivity. The hotel can propose a delicious relaxing courtyard with a reviving wade pool, the new brasserie and Italian restaurant "Spaghetti" which serves dinner.

Hotel customers also have access to the sister property, the Penguin Hotel (located directly beyond the President Hotel), where they able to enjoy breakfast & snack.

A valid picture ID is required at check in in addition to a refundable safety deposit of USD50 per room/night (max. Usd500 per stay) which able to be paid in cash or credit card.

Special Event Dates/Holidays (dates with minimum visit of three nights and up) for sample Memorial Day Weekend etc. are non refundable.

Please note: As of Jan. 31 our " Spaghetti " restaurant is temporarily closed. Our brasserie is open daily for Happy Hour and our restaurant is currently open for lunch only.

Our $15. 00 Resort Fee consists of: Continental breakfast for two(8 to 10.30am), two Happy Hour drink coupons, Free local telephone calls, complimentary coast towels in visitor apartment and coast chairs at the reception desk, complimentary WI-FI, use of secure in visitor apartment, two complimentary bottles of water. Resort Fee will be automatically posted to the visitor account.
