auto, arrving by means of M1 or A1 take the A64 YorkLeeds and then the A1036 for York town and bishopthorpe follow highway past the racecourse up the hill and at second set of traffic lights take a right scarcroft highway, come along this highway till you pass greenish on the left and then side streets appear on right, take the 4th highway -russell street- come to upper and turn left Dalescroft is second cottage. Leedsbradford is nearest airport, Taxi or bus to Leeds then train to York.
