Transportation
From the North. Take the A1 onto the A59 in the suburbs of the town you'll crossover the A1237. Continue to follow the A59 into the town till you arrive up a hill to an iron railway bridge. Turn right immediately after the bridge onto Dalton Terrace. At the traffic lights turn left and move to the far right-hand lane at the following set of traffic lights turn right on to Scarcroft Road. Take the 2nd right-hand turn into Nunthorpe Avenue and the Barrington is on the left half way down. From the South. Come into York on the A64 York-Leeds highway. In the suburbs of the town take the A1036 sign posted York West. Follow the signs for downtown. After a mile you'll pass the racecourse which will be on your right. There is a slight hill with traffic lights at the upper, go via the lights and at the following set of traffic lights turn right on to Scarcroft Road. Take the 2nd right-hand turn into Nunthorpe Avenue and the Barrington is on the left half way down. From the Railway Station. Turn right and follow the footpath round the town wall till you arrive to the cross highways. Turn directly at the fusion onto Blosson Street. After approx 300 meters you'll pass an Odeon Cinema, just behind here the highway changes name to The Mount. After two hundreds meters turn left into Scarcroft Road. Take the 2nd right-hand turn into Nunthorpe Avenue and the Barrington is on the left half way down.
