With its picture postcard setting at the center of an unspoiled countryside of ham stone buildings and thatched cottages, The Helyar Arms is a cheerful mix of conventional values and present-day comforts. Six interesting bedrooms, all with en apartment power shower suites, are greatly friendly and well furnished with everything from Wi Fi access to complimentary cafetiere coffee, and there are a lot of thick towels, quality linen sheets and an option of pillows, blankets and duvets. The heavily beamed brasserie, parts of which date back to the 15th century, is the ideal place to enjoy a well maintained genuine beer or one of over 30 wines by the diamond. Our food, with the plurality of our make sourced within a ten mile radius, features won over a dozen awards in the last few years, including Best Country Pub of the Year 2006.
