Welcome to The Kings Arms, Montacute. The Kings Arms Inn close to Yeovil is situated in the wonderful village of South Somerset in the center of Montacute, a little charming village famous for its use in the filming of 'Sense and Sensibility'. What a lot of other persons do not know is that the countryside features its own local quarry producing golden ham stone, of which much of the countryside is made; a wealthy and colorful heritage, evident in plenty of of the local buildings as well as masses of unspolied landscape. The 17th Century Inn nestles at the foot of a steep hill which some think helped the countryside find its present-day day name. The Kings Arms proposes 15 en-suite bedrooms most with refined vistas of South Somerset; a restaurant that serves everything from light bites to mouth watering three course meals and a brasserie with an open roaring log fire, informal atmosphere and a lot of welcoming locals. The Hotel is a 30 minute train ride40 drive to the Sea Events of the Olympics 2012.

Transportation

When coming south on the A303 turn left at the Cartgate roundabout on to A3033. Continue for approximately a mile then turn 1st right, at the end of the highway turn left onto Motacute Road follow round in to the countryside untill you see the church in frount of you and we are to your right. Car parking at rear.
