Key Farm House The cottage is grade 11* of unique & historic interest. Built of local rubble stone mostly rendered, with ham stone dressings circa 1600. Has comprise Ovolo mould and oak framed mullioned windows with piazza leaded panes, a lot of with head moulds. The projecting north entry also features a greatly antique door with little side lights in the returns. Outside at the back is an ample ancient timber framed Granary Building. Key Farm House provides lodging with up-to-date facilities while retaining its spectacular period features; including flagstone and wooden floors, ham stone and cast iron fireplaces and in the east living room some prime panelling circa 1700. There are lawned districts around the cottage which able to be delighted when the weather permits. There is ample off highway car parking in the grounds at the back. The Property is located approximately 2 miles south of Yeovil on the Dorchester highway. Yeovil is the trade center for the region and features a matchless variety of facilities including boutiques, sports clubs, garages, and the ancient town of Sherborne with it is Abbey and other facilities is only eight miles distant. We are situated un the centre for visiting the a lot of National Trust properties in the region. Training amenities in the region comprise horse racing at Wincanton, Exeter, Taunton & Salisbury. Hole golf at Yeovil, Long Sutton, Sherborne & Windwhistle. Neighbouring course fishing at Stoford & Hillfield; Carp fishing at Pavyotts Mill; Water Sports at surrounding Sutton Bingham Reservoir and the Dorset Jurassic Coastline. Breakfast; A cooked breakfast is offered with tea, savoury coffee and fresh orange juice; a choice of cereals, yogurts and just prepared fruits, catered from seven. 30 - 9.30a.m. (other times by arrangement).
