The Village House Coaching Inn is now under the ownership of Paul Hills and Oliver Silverthorne and underwent a main renewal in early 2008, moving the brasserie across the room is equipped opened up a lively and spacious gulf window and installing a brand-new log burner features presented the pub a warm and comfortable feeling. We also have regular live amusement with Jazz nights, popular music nights and themed charity quiz nights among other occasions, see occasions page for details. We have six discretely furnished en room bedrooms-including one 4 poster- and every room is equipped with colour television, savoury coffee and tea making amenities, hairdryer and alarm clocks. Our philosophy reflects the fascination of the countryside so whether a quiet setting and mood is what you're searching for we strive to produce your visit a relaxing one. The Village House Coaching Inn features everytime been one of the focal points of the countryside, so we try to serve for every person from ramblers and cyclists searching for a cooling lunch to families on the go, to persons searching for classic food using well-known local make. We strive highly hard to source local make (our cook even meets the local fisherman every day in the morning to determine fresh fish of the day) and have built a respect for really peculiar just prepared fish and chips. All our food able to be delighted in the restaurant or the recently renewed brasserie which brags a range of true ales, lagers, premium spirits and malt whiskies with a wine catalogue cautiously selected by ourselves that combines ancient world maturity with recent world freshness.
