Recently refurbished in 2010, this private 17th-century city hotel lies in the center of beautiful Woodstock, which nestles by the gates of Blenheim Palace, the home of the 11th Duke of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. The Feathers proposes the best ground from which to discover the dreaming spires of the uni town of Oxford and the scenic Cotswolds - yet it is just 1 12 hours from London! The guesthouse features 16 personally designed suites and five rooms, all equipped with antiques, books and enchanting pictures. All rooms in the hotel have privy bathrooms, TV and direct-dial telephones. In winter, log fires blaze in reception desk and the brasserie. In warmer months, the patio park provides the perfect location to take a light meal or refreshment. The well-renowned restaurant features received much critical acclaim. The fascinating dishes on the carte menu are cautiously but simply made using only the best ingredients. Customers may select from the everytime changing a la menu.
