Situated in Oxfordshire, North of Witney on the B4022, right outside small countryside of Hailey - this classic Cotswolds guesthouse is in an amiable peaceful location in the center of the state within several miles of Oxford, Chipping Norton and main highways. The Bird in Hand is a Grade II listed building. Visually, it's a classic, graceful, stone and slate Cotswold building. Situated between Witney and Chipping Norton on the B4022, the inn is a mile outside the countryside of Hailey and set on a slight rise amongst green fields and airy Cotswold village. From the south, the structure stands out from the scenery, reminding us of the history of the Cotswolds, middle England and the luxuriousness of this part of our fragile world. Nestled among the rolling village of the Cotswolds, the Bird in Hand provides you a warm, relaxed welcome. The Inn abounds with natural Cotswold stone and several heavily beamed apartments, every with its own friendliness and character. The oldest suite is a focal point, with its wide inglenook hearth, which blazes away with enormous logs during the cold winter nights and is embellish with a display of local bunchs of flowers during the hot summer months season. Since the original 17th Century Inn was absolutely renovated, it features endeavoured to give firstrate service and mouth-watering food in a warm, joyous and soothing atmosphere. The Inn is superbly apt as a base from which to explore the enjoyment of the Cotswolds and encompassing regions. Transportation

Highways from the North: Exit M40 at Junction 9, follow signs for A34 Oxford, exit at the Peartree interchange, take second exit on roundabout sign A40 and Witney. Once on the A40 follow signs for Witney and come off at Witney East. Once in Witney follow signs for Hailey (B4022). The Bird in Hand is located approximately 1 mile further on.
