Judy and Steve would like to welcome you to visit with them in their cosy three-storey 19th Century Lakeland Cottage located in the city of Windermere, in the picturesque English Lake District. Orrest Cottage has just been renowated to provide a modern feel and mood. There are 3 cozy en apartment apartments, every can accommodate 2 groun-ups. Wake up and anticipate to a charming Lakeland breakfastTo boost your appetite there is lots of fresh Lake District air and no doubt many local strolls and a lot of starting from right outside the facade door. Across the highway is the beginning of the Orrest Head stroll, made well-known by Lakeland author Alfred Wainwright, it provides you some of the majority gorgeous views over the Lake District fells. We are perfectly situated just 200m, whether you are strolling, from either Windermere train station or the major bus stop at Windermere Tourist Information and we're just the same distance from the very heart of city. For your convenience we are Wi Fi enabled, and has to offer you flexible checkin times to suit your requirements. Check-out is by 10am.

Transportation

From the M6 motorway leave at Junction 36 and travel West following signs for Windermere. Upon your approach to Windermere the A591 descends to an immense mix signposted left to Windermere and Lake. Just behind this combination is a foot passenger crossing, we are 20m behind this on left.
