Gillian and Brian Womersley invite you to to the good English lake District and Lindisfarne House, a charming, conventional detached Lakeland stone cottage built in 1881. Located in a tranquil district within a short distance of Windermere countryside heart, Bowness and Lake Windermere. A short auto ride takes you to the neighbouring countrysides of Ambleside and Grasmere which are located right in the centre of "Wordsworth" state, or across the lake by ferry brings you to Sawrey, the home of Beatrix Potter, whose cottage "Hill Top" is now owned by the National Trust and open to the social. Our lodging features a peculiar cozy feel created for leisure and maximum comfort, the bedrooms have been thoughtfully embellished, every providing a high degree of comfort and leisure. We have 4 letting apartments, three of which are adjacent, and one with own privately-owned shower suite. For that special reason we have a dainty Super-king suite. Every room is furnished with color televisions, radio alarm clock, hairdryer, tea/coffee making amenities. However you may want to spend your time, we will provide you with a generous beginning to your day with a healthy home-cooked English breakfast and endeavour to assist produce your visit more cosy and fascinating.
