The Dodington Lodge Hotel was indigenously constructed as an intimate cottage but is now adapted as a prime family runned hotel. It's embedded in its own property in extremely quiet surroundings and is three star accredited by the AA. You are to find a hospitable, professional and warming welcome whatever your reason for visiting. We provide FREE car parking and have an absolutely licensed pub where you are able also enjoy a meal or lite bite. The inn is perfectly placed for exploration the Shropshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire village. Manchester Airport is our nearest at 1 Hour away. The Roman cities of Chester and Shrewsbury (Wroxoter) are only a days march away (or approximately thirty minutes in the Car), and there are a landlord of activities to entertain you within 5 min drive of the Hotel. The Sandstone Trail begins (or ends) in the Whitchurch Jubilee Park, which is situated a several minutes stroll away from the guesthouse. Local sights comprise the Rally School (the most fun on 4 wheels) and The Parachute Centre Ltd (Ok whether you want to throw yourself out of a superbly picturesque aeroplane). The inn is located in the bustling market place city of Whitchurch. The city acts as the start and the end of Regional Cycle Route 31, which runs from Whitchurch through the market place city of Ellesmere (our local ‘Lake District ’) and onto the border market place city of Oswestry, situated on the English side of the England/Wales border. There are numerous courses in golf within a 12 mile radius of the inn.
