General Information
Hillcrest is an 18th Century state house with leaded light windows and other original has, equipped in house fashion. The Garage used to be a Blacksmith's forge. It's embedded in a spacious house park, neighboring to Coplow Wood, with attractive vistas over the Avon vale to Edgehills and the Cotswolds. It's on the route of the Shakespeares Avon Way Footpath. An attractive base for hiking Shakespears Country, Stratford on Avon, Historic Warwick and it is Castle. Nec and Birmingham (20 miles) have free access from the M40. Coventry 13 miles. The family have run bed & breakfast here for nearly fifty years. The Dinning apartment where breakfast is catered faces the park. You'll see a lot of birds stay and the occassional deer. A conventional English breakfast is catered but other diets able to be served for. Make from the park is used when accessible and preserves homemade from the fruit trees in the park. All bedrooms have tea/coffee making amenities, colour television and main heating. Self-sufficient Wi-Fi. There is a Log fire in the hall in winter and seating on the Patio in summer months for our dear guests to use.
Transportation
On the A46, 1 mile south of combination 15 of the M40 at the upper of Sherbourne Hill. 4miles from Stratford on Avon and two miles from Warwick.
