General Information

The Enjoy England four-star graded Little Gables B and B at Wallingford on Thames, is a conventional English detached cottage, with the proprietors providing a sincere reception to our dear guests. Our lodging features single, double, twin, triple, and family suites. Our suites have either en apartment or privy bathrooms, are individualy colored to a high standard and have plenty of facilities to produce you feel as easy and as much at home as possible (f.ex. fridge, tea/coffee making amenities, TV, wi-fi i-net, DVD). English and mainland breakfasts are catered with a big variety of homemade and vegetarian products. Take pleasure in your breakfast with an adorable panorama of the park. On checkout most visitor prefer to pay by cash or cheque as we pass on the 5% card charges to visitors.

Transportation

We are situated in between Oxford and Reading (M40 and M4) where the A4074 Oxford - Reading highway crosses the A4130 Wallingford - Henley Road. By Road: From Wallingford city center on to the A4130. From Oxford, Henley-on-Thames and Reading arrive at Crowmarsh Gifford Roundabout, follow the A4130 towards Henley for 50 meters, then turn right into Crowmarsh Hill, then right again. Continue for 50 m, Little Gables is on your left. M40 exit 6 onto the B4009 which leads through Watlington and Benson to Crowmarsh. M4 exit 89 to A4130 to Henley, turn directly at the traffic lights in Henley Town Centre and after 15 minutes you'll get to Crowmarsh. By Train: The closest stations are Cholsey (with a straight connection to Oxford and Reading) and Didcot (with a straight quick train link to London). Distances to the next train stations are: Cholsey three miles, Didcot 6 miles, Reading 11 miles, Oxford 14 miles. By Bus: There is a bus stop within hundred metres to Wallingford, Henley, Reading and Oxford. Oxford features a capacious net of buses connecting to plenty of towns. By Plane: Distances from all London airports are (by car): Heathrow Airport 29 miles, Gatwick Airport 73 miles, Luton Airport 59 miles. Distances from all London airports are (by trainbus): Heathrow Airport 40 minutes by bus to Reading, then ten minutes train to Cholsey. Gatwick Airport is 1h 20 minutes by train to Reading, then ten minutes train to Cholsey. By Boat: Leave your boat at Wallingford Bridge and stroll for half a mile (15 mins) or at Benson Boat Yard and drive for three minutes. On Foot: We are half a mile from the Ridgeway and Thames Footpaths.
