General Information

A refuge of flamboyant design in a village setting, only 15 mins from Oxford downtown and 45 mins from London. The Crazy Bear is celebrated for its originality and personality. The center of the guesthouse is a 16th century building that features been bravely re-designed to cottage the brasserie, and award winning English Restaurant and Thai Brasserie (destinations in themselves). 5 Bedrooms, 10 apartments, and 2 cottages are spread throughout the establishment, every personally designed using bold structures, bespoke furniture, and elaborate materials. The inn sits at the facade of its sixty acre farm, which rears much of the fresh make for its restaurants, and is home to The Crazy Bear Farm Shop.


Transportation

From M40 Northbound: exit jnc seven, left onto A329. Direct through small milton into stadhampton, over the mini roundabout, left at petrol station, and then 2nd left into hotel parking. From M40 Southbound: exit jnc8a, at the roundabout take 1st exit onto A418 signpostedthame, take the 1st right signposted milton common, turn directly at the t-junction onto the A329, continue through small milton as above. From Oxford: from the ring highway take the cowley exit onto B480 signposted watlington, continue for approximately six miles into stadhampton, as the highway bends sharply to the left, just before the petrol station, turn right onto the A329, and then 2nd left into the guesthouse carpark.
