The Crown Inn is said to have 2 resident welcoming ghosts. We have a choice of double, twin and single en-suite apartments all recently refurbished, reasonably priced & breakfast is inclusive. Here at The Crown we proudly landlord regular live music, we landlord 2 Beer Festivals every year, one in April - St Georgesfest and 1 in October - Oktoberfest. Both are now in their third year and are well-known weeks of Live Music and Real Ales & Ciders. We have 2 domino teams offering persons the opportunity to receive involved with a pub custom on each Monday Night from September to April every year. In our brasserie we cater up to 6 genuine ales, 1 true cider, 1 genuine perry and have been given status of Rutland CAMRA Branch Pub Of The Season Summer 2009 & Autumn 2010. We are in The Good Beer Guide 2009, 2010 and 2011. Also we have a big variety of single malt whiskies, mainland beers and ciders. Food is catered in our comfortable restaurant or major brasserie from 12noon – two. 30pm and six. 30pm – 9.00pm, except Tuesdays. All our food is homemade, wherever possible, cooked to order and locally sourced. Rutland Water is well sign posted on the A6003 towards Oakham, and is 6 miles from The Crown. Eyebrook Reservoir is off the A6003 towards Kettering and is two miles from us. Both are famous for fishing trout. The National Bird Watching Fair takes spot at Rutland Water and regular sailing occasions. You're secured of a warm conventional welcome.
