General Information

The Farmers Arms Hotel is embedded in the good English Lake District, with vistas of the Crake Valley and the Old Man of Coniston. The structure proposes a firstrate barrestaurant serving home-cooked food from our major carte menu plus a 'specials' carte menu which is updated every week. There is also a Stables Bar that dates back to the fourteenth century with original stone floor. There are also 2 outside seating districts to facade and rear of property. There are ten visitor apartments for all guests to the Lake District, including single apartments for walkers, beatifully appointed apartments for couples and a 4 placard apartment for an amorous getaway. There is also a capacious car parking to the back of the premises.

From M6, exit Jct 36, (A590) toward BarrowKendaA591, continue about three. five miles, then take A590A6 towards BarrowMilnthorpe. Continue on A590 for approx 17 miles till you get to the A5092 turning on right signposted Coniston, Whitehaven and Millom, continue on the A5092 for two miles and the Farmers Arms able to be found on your right.
