Clifton Grove Hotel Torquay

General Information

The Clifton Grove is a grade two listed building built in the nineteenth century by the admiralty for their Captain's families. Perfectly located between Torquay Harbour and Babbacombe Downs home of the clifftop railway. We are just ten minutes walk to the haven, seafront and the cities plenty of other park amusements. Our family run certificated guesthouse is the whole year round and features the added comfort of limited car park on-site. We propose a social informal atmosphere for couples, families and the business traveler. The inn features a variety of bedrooms from singles to family suites all equipped to a high standard. All bedrooms are equiped with color TV, hairdryers, alarm clock, and tea/coffee making amenities. You're welcome to unwind in our dear guests hall with a 42 tv the entire with Freeview channels or watch a choice of DVDs. Maybe a game of pool is more to your liking or relaxing with a drink at our dwellers brasserie. We do not propose suppers but we have a variety of brasserie meals obtainable from 6. 30pm to 9. 00pm daily. Our Breakfast carte menu includes choice of cereal, toast, fruit juice and a full English breakfast at individual tables in our enjoyable Dining Room. We are a non-smoking hotel but use of the Beer park is obtainable for smokers whether you wish to use it.

Transportation

M5 combination 31 signposted Torquay. You should follow the A380 through Kingskerswell to a roundabout where you should follow the signposts to the Torquay seafront and follow the major highway into the very heart of Torquay. Follow the signs for Babbacombe turning left at the clock roundabout, carry on this highway till you get to Old Torwood Road located on the left hand side after the Yum Sing Restaurant. Turn left into Old Torwood Road which merges into Clifton Grove. Our Hotel is located on the left.
