General Information

Burleigh House in Torquay was constructed around 1927 as a gentleman’s residence and 1st became a holiday hotel in 1958. Today, we have eight visitor apartments (one en-suite twin, 5 en-suite doubles and 2 singles). The 2 singles share a bathroom and disunite toilet on the same floor. Parking is supplied, off-street, at the back of the cottage. All our apartments have a digital, widescreen Freeview tv, radio/alarm, tea/coffee-making amenities and hairdryer. Over-the-air broadband I-net is obtainable through-out the structure and there’s an internet-connected PC for visitor use in our reception. Burleigh House is precisely a short stroll to the city center, beaches and Conference Centre. We’re also on the route for local buses to Paignton, Brixham, Newton Abbot and Exeter. Torre train station is close-by with local trains to Paignton, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Dawlish and behind. Burleigh House is family-owned and run, open all the all year.
