Our Guest House is situated in the unspoiled region of Babbacombe Torquay, famous for it is genuine beauty. Some of the apartments face the lawned Downs and the Devon and Dorset coastline behind - for visitors to enjoy from their own privately-owned balconies. The panorama is amazing. Berkeley House is a 4 bedroomed family run holiday hotel. All our delightfully furbished rooms are all adjacent and although dinner is not catered, the acclaimed breakfasts which are catered in our tea suites will set you up for a firstrate days sightseeing.... Eating out just couldn't be easier or more varied with a whole range of options within just several yards of Berkeley House not forgetting our own Licenced Tea Rooms and Ice Cream Parlour. Boulevard. Marychurch preceinct is a short amble away as is "Plainmoor" - The home of Torquay United Football Club and our own Babbacombe Theatre is right on our doorstep. There are 2 beaches Oddicombe and Babbacombe. Oddicombe is the sandier of the 2 while Babbacombe attracts a lot of divers and fishermen. The Babbacombe Model Village, Bygones and Kents Cavern are all easily accessable and within short distance. Babbacombe also is proud of it own Cliff Railway which runs from first March through to the end of October. The major city of Torquay with it is many sights is precisely a short bus or auto ride away. Strolling is a fashionable alternative using one of the a lot of waterside rock strolls with amazing landscape and vistas.
