General Information

Oxford House is a handsome late Victorian building 3 minutes amble from the pier with stunning views over the whirlpool from several apartments on the top floors. The spirit is relaxed and simple and all our nice bedrooms are easy adn tranquil. Garden Road is mainly residential and is next to the city center, the coast and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage spot. Climbing, diving and hole golf are amongst the a lot of activities accessible locally. No auto is required to access most amenities, and for the less strenuous there are plenty of wonderful strolls, both along the Jurassic Coast and inland. Swanage is where the land stops and the sea and the sky begin. It's a site to cross over and a spot to step back in time. It owes its existence to its coast and to the white heat of the Victorian technological revolution. It's a child of the Victorian railway age and it remains real to its parents. Ours is a city center which features not been redeveloped. The phrase "time warp" is often used to describe the site and clocks definitely need to be adjusted to Swanage time. Whether all these actvities sound a small too exhausting why not simply sit by the quay and enjoy a plate of oysters and a glass of wine. Swanage is a gateway to the Jurrasic Coast and is on the South West Coast path. It's an adorable tranquil location for exploration the beach but don't neglect the inland strolls which collection from rolling hilltops to mysterious heaths.
