Occupying an excellent, elevated tranquil location facing St. Ives Bay, this award-winning hotel provides a landlord of contemporary comforts and astonishing sea prospect suites. Initially three Edwardian houses built for local sea captains with the Hain Shipping Company, Chy-an-Albany was converted to a hotel in the 1920s. The guesthouse features been elegantly renovated retaining much of the fascination of the original building. The hotel can propose its new art-themed restaurant which opened in 2010- The Lighthouse Bistro showcases a big variety of art from local artists including Lamorna Penrose to Cathrine Stringer. The gallery-style restaurant is offering up-to-date dining using the greatly freshest local vegetables and make, fish direct from the sea and Cornish made cheeses alongside exotic foods and wines from around the world. As well as exhibiting in the bistro there are also prints and other works of art on display from both local and international artists in the brasserie, reception desk and sunlounge. Commission from sales are being donated to the RNLI. The Bistro also features some of the best vistas over St Ives Bay and Godrevy Lighthouse.

Transportation

Take the A3074 major highway into St. Ives and continue down Trelyon Avenue. At the base of the hill turn left on to Albany Terrace. Our major parking is located at the back of the Hotel and there are a little number of parking places at the facade. To locate this proceed back to Albany Terrace, turn left on to Trelyon Avenue and left in to Albert Road. Take the following left on to Talland Road and left again into Belyars Lane. Our major car parking is approximately 200m along here. The guesthouse is around 500 yards from St Ives bus and train stations.
