General Information

Celebrated Pelean Farm is a grade 2 listed farm cottage located close to the thrilling south beach of Cornwall. Andy, Jane & Alicia Jeffries-Jones moved here in 1998 and spent time, energy & money on renovations. We now have an attractive home that we enjoy sharing with our a lot of customers. The cottage is believed to date back to the early 13th century and the facade door is even older, believed to date from the 12th century, having been removed from Tywardreath Abbey when the monks returned to France. Embedded in about 5 acres the cottage is on the edge of a working livestock and arable farm. We have our own hens, ducks, cattle and sheep and towards Christmas we rear turkeys. Then we have the family dogs - Mabel, Ethel & Candy. All suite tariffs are inclusive of Full English breakfast and a cream tea on arrival. We have a capacious park in which you may stroll or sit. In warmer weather some clients select to have breakfast outside. On colder days the lounge/diner is cozy & homely with the forest burner lit. We goal to produce breakfast a unforgettable experience. Customers are invited to pick out from a carte menu that consists of 40 various sausages, self-sufficient collection eggs and home made bread, marmalade, lemon curd and yogurt or you may prefer scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. We are perfectly situated for guests to the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan & The National Trust property of Lanhydrock House and Gardens. We are waiting for friendly you to the farm.
