Bankside is an extensive cottage which was constructed in approximately 1820, embedded in an exquisite park. It features been sympathetically modernized and now proposes 3 highly enchanting, suitable and well furnished visitor bedrooms, every with its own thoroughly up to date shower/WC. The cottage is equipped in mainly up-to-date fashion, but with several antiques here and there. On arrival you'll get a highly sincere reception from Heather, with complimentary refreshments. Every visitor room is equipped very cozy beds, with elegant Egyptian cotton bed linen, bathrobes and graceful white towels. There is also a flat screen digital TV, hairdryer, comprehensive cordiality tray with fresh milk daily. Self-sufficient Wi-Fi in every apartment. Breakfast is catered in the breakfast room around our spacious ancient desk, and gives a generous chance to reach know the other visitors and to share your experiences of the region. You are able to facilitate yourself to starters from the snack bar - fruit juice, cereals, homemade yoghurt, fresh fruit, dried fruit, nuts and seeds. Whilst you're enjoying this, Heather will chef your choice of major course - a full English with locally made sausages, Cornish bacon, self-sufficient collection eggs etc, or perhaps homemade pancakes with different toppings, or locally smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Follow this with toast and preserves, all homemade certainly! Homemade Cornish Cream Teas are accessible, catered in the park when possible. Boulevard Austell is the perfect center for exploration the Eden Project, Heligan Gardens, Charlestown, Fowey and Mevagissey. With a auto, everywhere in Cornwall is within day tour distance, but all the local sights able to be visited by bus. There are an increasing number of walking/cycle trails through St Austell, and direct access to the incredible South West Coastal Path. Our ultimate local coast is Porthpean, only 2 miles away. You are able also use a blend of train, bus and ferry to have amazing days out. We have private car park at the back of the cottage.
