Our traditionally embellished rooms are easy and relaxing. The cottage itself is full of character and propose visitors a famous site in which to base a vacation. Kinkell is on the beach outside St Andrews and the farm runs down to the sea with fabulous vistas of the coastline to the North and to the West of the St Andrews skyline. In addition to hole golf in St Andrews, with its prominent Old Course, Kinkell lies between the recent St Andrews Links Castle Course and the Torrance and Kittocks course of the Fairmont, St Andrews. Kingsbarns, Crail and Elie courses in golf are all not far from and there are plenty of others in the region to suit all standards of hole golf. Kinkell is also perfectly located for enjoying all the other sights of St Andrews, the University, historic buildings, ruined Cathedral and Castle, and Harbour, in addition to the nice waterside fishing countrysides of Crail, Pitenweem and Anstruther, the later bragging one of the best fish and chips in Scotland. There are also plenty of historic houses and terraces in the region, some open to the social. For the more energetic there is the Fife Coastal Path and the majestic beaches, including the West Sands made outstanding by the opening scenes of the film "Chariots of Fire". Whether you opt to eat out the region proposes a big variety of scenic places to eat and drink, and Sandy and Frippy will happily propose facilitate and advice in making a selection. Boulevard Andrews and Kinkell are a beautiful base for more stretched tours and your hosts will assist you to plan your days and besides help with booking hole golf and restaurants as significant. There is a tennis court and croquet lawn in the unofficial park nearby the cottage. Sandy also runs a quad biking and offroad driving heart on a landscaped course running down towards the sea. The farm buildings, Kinkell Byre, have been converted for use as a function place for weddings and other occasions.
