General Information

The proprietors, Jim and Josie Dean, moved to Southampton from Poole, to take over Hunters Lodge in November 2001 after having careers in the Banking and Insurance industries. Hunters Lodge is comfortably located for Southampton City Centre which means all the attractions and park amusements are only a short way away including the Guild Hall, Civic Centre, Mayflower Theatre, West Quay Shopping, including the recent IKEA store, Leisureworld, Ocean Village Marina, Docks, Ferry Port, Cruise Terminals, University, General Hospital SO16 6YD, National Oceanography Centre, Royal South Hants and Spire Southampton (formerly the Chealybeate BUPA) Hospitals. There is an immense breakfast room and a hall with a certificated dwellers brasserie. Our hall and brasserie region creates a warm and familiar atmosphere for you to enjoy a drink, vista tv or just simply unwind with a fine book. We also have independent WiFi internet throughout and a independent devoted broadband internet with PC, table, printer and scanner sited in the hall district for our dear guests use. All our apartments are well appointed, all adjacent and non smoking and the tariff is inclusive of full English breakfast and all local taxes (UK vat @17.5%). Please note however that between the dates of 10th December 2010 till second March 2011 we will only be can give a mainland fashion breakfast option and the tariff features been adjusted accordingly to reflect this. We have ample free parking zone at the facade and rear of Hunters Lodge with a garage accessible bicycles and motorcycles. Hunters Lodge is an adorable choice if your visit is for work, enjoyment, just visiting family or friends or for pre-cruise lodging.
