72 bedroom Hotel and able to berth up to 133 customers, including several first floor suites and two disabled suites. All the bedrooms at Sidholme Hotel comprise Fair-Trade tea/coffee making amenities and hair-dryers. Bedrooms do not have televisions, however a restful tv apartment is easily situated within the Hotel. Car parking is self-sufficient for Guests of the Hotel. This gracious Georgian manor house features been hospitable clients for 80 years with a Christian ethos. It was aboriginally built for the 6th Earl of Buckinghamshire and was known as Richmond Lodge. It's specially noted for its proud Music Room, the entire with marvellous chandeliers and Gothic-style organ. Transportation
From North, South and West: Take the M5 to blend 30. Turn onto the A3052 to Sidmouth through Newton Poppleford. Follow signs to Sidmouth. Keep on A3052 ignoring 1st 2 right turns for Sidmouth. At traffic lights by garage, turn right towards Sidmouth onto A375. Follow this highway for about 1 mile through built-up region, past kids' playground on right, past Spar on right. Turn right immediately in front of the Volunteer pub into Peaslands Road. Travel up hill and take 1st left into Denby Terrace. Christian Guild gates and back entry to guesthouse is opposite. Follow sign to reception desk. From East (London): At Honiton take A375 to Sidmouth for about 12 miles then follow directions from Sidmouth onto A375. Follow this highway for about 1 mile through built up region, past kids' playground on right, past Spar on right. Turn right immediately in front of the Volunteer pub into Peaslands Road. Travel up hill and take 1st left into Denby Terrace. Christian Guild gates and back entry to guesthouse is opposite. Follow sign to reception desk. By Public Transport: The nearest mainline station to Sidmouth is in Exmouth. From here, take the 157 bus to Sidmouth (one each hour). Alternatively, take the train to Exeter then either the 52A or 52B bus (one each half hour) to Sidmouth.
