The Half Moon is a conventional pub located in the picturesque Dorset city of Sherborne. Its 13 suites have been thoughtfully renovated in Spring 2008 as a Marston's Inn. Apartments comprise elegant bedding, tea, savoury coffee and biscuits, hairdryers and independent wi-fi. We provide all our dear guests our fantastic choice of breakfast, including cooked and mainland choices with our compliments. Sherborne is perfect for discovering Hardy's Wessex rural area and within the city itself houses a historic Castle and Abbey to discover. Within a short ride are the great Gold Hill in Shaftesbury and Stourhead House and Gardens in addition to the plenty of lively thatched roof countryside in the district. The centre and soul of the guesthouse remains the pub itself, a conventional inn full of character and located in the center of the city. Food is catered all day and the varied carte menu consists of sandwiches and lunches in addition to hearty pub meals. We also have an enticing selection of drinks, including cask ales and a variety of wines.
