The Garrison Hotel Sheffield

General Information

The Garrison Hotel is located within the Hillsborough Barracks, Sheffield. An adorable peaceful location for anyone wanting a lounging and short break. Having opened in year 2001, the structure is converted from what used to be the Grade II listed jail, guardhouse and ammunition building of Hillsborough Barracks. This combines an historic ambience with up-to-date facilities.

Transportation

From the northTalking J36 on the M1, follow signs for Sheffield A61. Follow this highway for about five miles passing Sheffield Wednesday soccer ground on your right and Owlerton Stadium on your left. Receive in the right hand lane as you pass BandQ, and Hillsborough Barracks should be visible on your right. Follow the highway into the Barracks and the guesthouse is on your left. Auto Parking amenities are accessible just in front of the major gates. From the South - Taking J33 on the MI, follow the A630Sheffield Parkway for about five miles, when the highway splits to three lanes, take the righthand lane signed Barnsley. Travel directly ahead at every set of traffic lights till you get to shalesmoor roundabount. Keep in the middle lane (A61 Barnsley) and continue on this dual carriageway till you see the auto Dealer Peugeot receive into the left hand lane prepared to turn Left at MacDonalds. Our parking is located just in front of the major gates to the guesthouse. From the west - Coming across the 'A57 Snake Pass' take the left hand turn signposted Hillsborough as you're approaching Sheffield. Follow this highway round till you see the Supertram stop. Follow this highway, Holme Lane, continuing direct across the traffic lights. At the roundabout take the 2nd major exit so that KFC is on your left and turn directly at the lights. The lobby to Hillsborough Barracks is the following right. The guesthouse parking is the right hand turning just after BandQ and the inn is exactly opposite.
