From M1 (Northbound) - Leave the M1 at Junction 33 and head into Sheffield. From Sheffield, originally take A61N and then A57 (Glossop). The last buildings as you leave Sheffield on the A57 is the Valleyside Garden Centre About mile later, take the 1st right (Rails Road). Go direct across at the crossroads and continue up Rails Road till you enter Stannington. After the Stannington sign, take the third left, passing Stannington Church on your right. After the church take the 2nd left, passing The Rose and Crown pub on your right. At the T-junction, turn left out into the rural area. You'll pass Underbank Chapel on your right, and besides on Dyson Refactories on your left. Carry on up the hill and down the other side. You're now in Dungworth. As you enter the countryside, The Royal Hotel is exactly after a little row of cottages on the right. (Still the B6076).
