Once a Gentleman's residence, built in Victorian Times, our guesthouse was converted in the early 1970's. Combining a blend of single, double, twin and family suites. Our dear guests are treated to a home from home ambience during their visit to ensure the stresses and strains of everyday life are the last thing you think of on vacation. At the Braemar we provide Bed and Breakfast. Customers have the option of choosing their own eatery in the evening, from the plenty of that are situated not far from in the Old Village or Shanklin Town. Our cozy breakfast room also plays landlord to our elegant English Breakfast, which makes sure you're set up for a busy day. The Braemar is situated in Shanklin Old Village, the oldest part of the city, with quaint thatched cottages, pleasant, pubs, restaurants, butiques and the sumptuous Shanklin Chine, which is a deep gorge, cut out of the cliff to form a captivating vale leading down to the sea. We are within a five minute stroll of the city center but in the summer the train is obtainable from the end of the highway to take you down to the esplanade or into the city center In our serene and tasteful breakfast room you are able to enjoy a conventional cooked breakfast gorgeous. There are also cereals, tea and coffee together with toast and a range of jams. Specialist diets able to be served for, but we would demand that any particular dietary requirements are brought to our care, prior to your visit.
