The Hotel is located just several hundred yards from Shanklin Old Village, the Chine, the city center and the rock elevator down to the Esplanade. The Hotel brags 18 bedrooms, five of which are appropriately situated on the 1st floor. All bedrooms are centrally heated and propose en-suite shower suites, color TV, cordiality tray and hair dryers. The Hotel also is proud of a broad parking at the back of the Hotel. All communal suites are stylishly embellished and sympathetic to the Victorian history of the guesthouse. The commodious huge non smoking breakfast room is the ideal place to enjoy a hearty Somerton Lodge breakfast or a tranquil candlelit 5 course evening meal. Transportation

When entering Shanklin, proceed to the traffic lights at the upper of the high avenue. At the traffic lights turn onto Victoria Avenue. The Somerton Lodge Hotel is 400 yds on the right hand side.
