The Old Mill Hotel Salisbury

General Information

Presented three stars as an Inn by the AA in August 2010, the antique mill provides conventional homely en apartment non-smoking lodging with river, mill pond or park vistas. All rooms in the hotel have Freeview flat screen TV, which able to be used to play CDDVD and furthermore as a PC monitor for using the I-net. All rooms in the hotel have independent over-the-air access for visitors preferring to use their own laptop. Self-sufficient on spot parking zone is available just thirty m from the door. A La Carte Breakfast is included in the price, which is catered in our restaurant, also presented an AA dining award in August 2010. The restaurant is located in the oldest aim built paper mill in the state rebuilt during the fifteenth century with foundations dating back to the 12th century. The Old Mill is located just to the south of Salisbury, just a 10 minutes wander to the very heart of city or twenty min to the cathedral. The promenade takes you via the Harnham water meadows where Constable painted his picture of the Cathedral.

Transportation

The Old Mill is located on the river Nadder in the countryside of West Harnham to the south of Salisbury just off the A3094. Whether hiking from London follow the A30 to Salisbury and when on the ring highway follow the signs to Wilton cottage, Salisbury Race course or the live stock market place. Whether hiking on the A36 from Warminster, turn Right after Wilton House on to the A3094 also sign posted to Salisbury Race course. The Old Mill is signposted in West Harnham on the brown treveller signs.
