General Information

Self-sufficient Wi-Fi, access to fax and photocopying amenities and pretty mobile signals produce Lancers House a wonderful site to visit for people travelling on business. All our apartments have flat screen TV's, tea and coffee amenities and en-suite shower or bathrooms. Included within the price is a mainland and choice of cooked breakfast. Daily newspapers are avialable usually from 8.00am. Ample self-sufficient parking zone is available in our own carpark. All our suites profit from vistas over the historic Fovant Badges. Perfectly located in southern England's rustic heartland, few destinations able to match the breathtaking variety of Salisbury and Stonehenge - with a heritage dating back over five, 000 years there is no shortage of places to stay, all conveniently situated within an hour or so's drive of every other. On the 'must see' list are the World Heritage location of Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Longleat and Stourhead terraces. But we also have a big variety of less famous but equally fine stately homes, wonderful gardens, picturesque farm gardens and award-winning museums you definitely won't want to miss. Salisbury features many characterful places to visit - some dating back to the 13th century - and a big variety of pubs, restaurants and tea suites. An option of arts and culture venues complement individual butiques and regular avenue markets, and outside the town you'll find pleasing state cities and countrysides with a lot of chances for celebrated strolling and cycling.

Transportation

Lancers House is locates right on the A30 between Salisbury and Shaftesbury. From Salisbury, proceed west through Wilton, Barford St Martin, Compton Chamberlaine and Fovant till you find a signposted saying to turn right for Sutton Mandeville, ignore this sign and we are 200 yards along on the right hand side. From Shaftesbury proceed east through Donhead, Ludwell, Ansty and Swallowcliffe and we are situated on the left hand side of the highway.
