General Information

Welcome to Cathedral View. Cathedral View was constructed in 1795 and is a Georgian grade two listed building located in front of the Close wall. We have a famous panorama of Salisbury Cathedral and are just several minutes stroll away. All suites are en-suite and have freshly been elegantly renovated. Every room is equipped with color TV with digital independent vista, tea/coffee making amenities, hairdryers, fresh bunchs of flowers and other thoughtful extras. We have off highway car park and independent Wi-Fi. We use fresh local make for breakfasts and can provide for all diets including vegetarian, vegan and wheat independent.

Directionsfrom London and the M3Take M3 to A303continue along A303 till the A343 turn off (signed to salisbury). The A343 becomes the A30 - at roundabout (junction with A338) take second exit A338 Salisbury (former A30)At next roundabout forward (Salisbury)at next roundabout (with traffic lights) take second exit A36. At next roundabout take second exit A338 then at next roundabout take 3rd exit - downtown. You're now in exeter Street Cathedral View is on the directly at the other end. From Portsmouth and SouthamptonTake the A36. On approaching Salisbury you'll go over a little roundabout with a comprehensive Tesco superstore to your right. On approaching next roundabout keep to the left hand lane take first exit a338, then at next roundabout take 3rd exit - downtown. You're now in exeter Street, Cathedral View is on the directly at the other end. From the WestTake the A303 east. turn right onto the a36 towards Salisbury. Follow signs to Salisbury through Wilton. You'll come into Salisbury at a roundabout with the Wilton Arms pub to your right. At this roundabout take the second highway off along Churchill Way West, direct along here to the following roundabout. (Past Waitrose store on your left). At the following roundabout take the middle lane and take second exit. At next roundabout take 3rd exit A36. At next roundabout take second exit A338 then at next roundabout take 3rd exit - downtown. You're now in exeter Street, Cathedral View is on the directly at the far end. Alternativelythe A35A354 by means of Blandford, following signs to Salisbury. As you enter the town you'll come over a pair of smaller roundabouts before seeing the Cathedral wall ahead of you. At this roundabout take second exit. You're now in Exeter Street, Cathedral View is on the directly at the other end.
