General Information
Brayford is a little family-managed bed and breakfast set amongst the tranquil green fields of south Wiltshire. Located half way between the town of Salisbury (and Stonehenge) and the market place city of Romsey, and further close enough to the town of Southampton as well, staying at Brayford is perfect for a shopping trip or, while being just ten minutes from the New Forest, experiencing all the recreation chances that are provided on the wood. Additionally the sandy beaches of Bournemouth are only fourty minutes away. Perfectly located in southern England's rustic heartland, few destinations able to match the astonishing variety of Salisbury and Stonehenge - with a heritage dating back over five, 000 years there is no shortage of places to stay, all conveniently situated within an hour or so's drive of every other. On the 'must see' list are the World Heritage location of Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Longleat and Stourhead terraces. But we also have a big variety of less famous but equally marvellous stately homes, wonderful gardens, good farm gardens and award-winning museums you definitely won't want to miss. Salisbury features many characterful places to visit - some dating back to the 13th century - and a big variety of pubs, restaurants and tea apartments. An option of arts and culture venues complement individual butiques and regular avenue markets, and outside the town you'll find enchanting state cities and countrysides with many occasions for widely-known strolling and cycling. To cap it all, Salisbury can be easily reached with idyllic highway and rail links, making it the best decision for a firstrate day out, a relaxing town break, or a tonic village vacation.
