The Ship Inn Rye (England)

General Information

The Ship Inn is in the very heart of Rye, at the foot of Mermaid Street. It was constructed in 1592, primarily as a warehouse to store contraband seized from Smugglers. It's now a characterful village pub, with ancient beams, wooden floors, open fires and different regions to sit in and unwind. Open from eleven all day each day for just prepared food, local fish, bloody mary's, genuine ales & organic ciders and from nine at the holidays for brunch. The Ship features ten comfy up-to-date rooms - all with en-suite bath or shower. Kids, dogs, mother in laws, are all highly welcome.
