The Playden Oasts is a 3 star English Tourist Board Inn full of spell and character only one mile from the historic Cinque Port of Rye. The structure is an old-time converted oast cottage previously used for drying hops. In this place you can rest with a tranquil drink in our roundel beach brasserie warmed by the cozy log fires. In prime weather admire the invigorating village air in our roomy ale park. We have two prime restaurants within our establishment providing a big variety of locally sourced dishes, together with conventional Sunday roasts, we are certain to serve for all your culinary desires. We also provide an immense Bar Menu. We are open all day, each day and our food is catered at Lunch (12 - 3pm) and Evenings (6 - 9pm). We provide eight fully en-suite bedrooms in our state hotel. If you are searching for a weekend break or just an lodging for the night during the month this is the ideal home from home experience. The Playden Oasts also features its own privately-owned fishing Lake, located just 9 miles from the inn. The lake contains Carp (up to 21 lb), Tench,Roach, Rudd, Bream and Perch. There is simple car park and the lake is obtainable for day fishing to our dear guests only at a cost of £10 in a day. No night fishing.
