Rhayader is known as the gateway to the 'Lakeland of Wales'.

We give the main basis from which to discover this brilliant district with its hills, valleys, forests and lakes.

The Horseshoe in Rhayader is a 200 year-old commodious Welsh stone building with lots of character and fascination, the lounges are enriched with deep cozy chairs, and are heavily beamed with a log fire for chilly in the evenings adding to the ambiance. The Horseshoe has just been renowated to a high standard offering the greatly finest in up-to-date facilities while retaining the original fascination of this adorable old house.
