General Information

Welcome Rest is a Self-Catering Residential Hostel located close to the mainline train station in Plymouth. Self catering proves popular for those looking to minimise cost or with non standard visit periods (night shift, late ferries etc). There are 10, bright and cosy suites, 4 with showers. The relaxation of the amenities are communal to comprise toilets and bathing, kitchens, dining and hall districts. Sky TV movies and sports are attainable in the hall and complete cottage is catered by independent Wi-Fi. The cottage is completely centrally heated. Welcome Rest is right next to the uni and to the popular Mutley Plain and North Hill regions of the town. Drake Circus mall center is a 5 minute stroll away and The prominent Barbican is just ten minutes stroll away. It's a pleasant base to explore all that Plymouth can offer in addition to the joy of the Tamar Valley and Cornwall through the rail links on the doorstep.

Transportation

From the mainline railway station - by highway. Exit the station and proceed up hill to the North Road roundabout. Take the 1st left into North Road East carry along North Road East, at the traffic lights turn left onto Houndiscombe Road then left onto Sutherland Road. Welcome Rest is on your left hand side. From the mainline railway station - by foot. Exit the station northeast onto Glen Park Avenue, turn right at Restormel Road then take your 1st left through to Sutherland Road, stroll up the hill and Welcome Rest is on your right hand side.
