The Rainbow Lodge is a privy run, listed Georgian holiday hotel in wonderful location on Plymouth Hoe, and is known by regular visitors as their 'little gem’. We are in the perfect site for getting around Plymouth. The major Shopping Area and University are just a short stroll. The Theatre Royal and Plymouth Pavilions are even closer (so we often have performers and members of their audience staying with us at the same time!). The special Barbican is also just several minutes’ stroll away, finest reached by a walk along the seafront to take in Plymouth Sound. And here’s an unexpected plus - although we’re so at the foot of the town, we are in a definitely calm surrounding area too, one that’s actually part of Plymouth’s major conservation district, so you receive peace in addition to situation.
