Built initially as part of the Atholl Estate some 350 years ago, East Haugh House is a delicious, turreted stone cottage located off the antique A9 highway and embedded in two acres of terraces. Use our access to the estates and rivers of Perthshire for a special hunting, shooting and fishing vacation in the Scottish HighlandsThe HouseHaving bought the cottage in 1989, we converted it to a little, highly individually run hotel, retaining a lot of of the fascinating has of the cottage. We have 13 personally designed bedrooms, three being four placard bedded apartments, one of which is in old pine with it is own hearth, highly romantic on a cold winters night! All rooms in the hotel have privy bathrooms, color televisions, tea and coffee trays and straight dial telephones. In Easter 1998, we completed the conversion of the Bothy, immediately beside the Hotel, offering five adjacent bedrooms. The Bothy was authentically the ancient kennels to East Haugh House and once again the conversion is to our usual high standard. Conventional SportsOur own personal interest in fishing, trekking, shooting and stalking enables us to propose different pursuits to the sportsman. Pitlochry Festival Theatre, located on the riversides Tummel, produces some excellent plays each year and tickets able to be arranged for visitors.
