General Information
We are a family run hotel providing a sincere reception, informal atmosphere with brasserie, and meeting facilities. Disabled visitors are well served for with appropriate access for wheelchair users. Everything at the Craigvrack is approximately giving that small bit more; its often the unexpected that is the majority excellent surprise of all. We welcome you to take the time to go through the splendid environs of Pitlochry, admire the considerate warmhearted service offered by our personnel, but most of all we welcome you to unwind, rest and produce yourself at home. All the rooms of the hotel are adjacent with complimentary teacoffee making amenities, hairdryers and main heating. We have fine views of Highland Perthshire's magnificient landscape which able to be delighted from our verandah, brasserie & breakfast apartment.
Transportation
By Road: Take the A9 north from Perth (easily reachable by well signposted trunk routes from Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh and Dundee) or south from Inverness. The slip highway to Pitlochry is well signposted 24 miles north of Perth and takes you direct onto Atholl Road. From Aberdeen take the good A93 through Royal Deeside then the A924 south of Glenshee at Bridge of Cally, direct into city. From Atholl Road coming from the south take the 3rd right turn onto West Moulin Rd, from the north, we are the second left turn onto West moulin Rd, drive past the Co-op supermarket, then the bowling green on the right hand side and we are the guesthouse with the flags on your right. By Rail: Regular train services run to Pitlochry station from all Scottish towns. There is also a daily amenities from London Kings Cross. The inn is just five minutes stroll from the station. By Coach: Comfortable express coaches link Pitlochry with each major city and town in the UK. A capacious net of services is operated by National Express and Citylink. By Air: Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports every have over 60 arrivals in a day from UK, European and Transatlantic airports. Pitlochry is then between 112 and two hours drive from these airports following the highway instructions above. Whether you wish transportation for the walking distance from the train station to the inn it's advisable to book beforehand.
