General Information

A warm Yorkshire welcome to this excellent sixteenth century training inn. The feel you receive via the whole building is directly what a conventional inn should be, easy but friendly. There are large comfy sofas to sink into while you decide what to eat for dinner. The restaurant is indeed classical and features stone flagged floors and a roaring fire in winter to establish the right ambiance, candle lit at night for additional romance (reservation to be made in advance). The bedrooms are behind expectations, planned only with your comfort in mind. The brasserie is a proper brasserie and serves an option of genuine beer from Yorkshire.
