General Information

The Panorama is a quiet, family run holiday hotel where we goal to produce you feel right at home from the moment you come. With ravishing vistas of Mount's Bay and The Lizard Peninsula, the recently renewed Panorama Guest House is a charming base for exploration West Cornwall with its beautiful cities of Penzance, St Ives and Helston and its elegant town of Truro. The Panorama is at the highly upper of Chywoone Hill, in the fishing countryside of Newlyn, which accounts for the attractive views from a pair of the bedrooms, the Guest Lounge and the Dining Room. Land's End is a 20-minute drive away, and Marazion and St Michael's Mount and the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno are within simple get to by auto or by bus. We are one of the extremely few visitor houses in the region that features a capacious car parking. There are local strolls that allow for vistas of the wonderful coastline. Buses stop outside the holiday hotel. For those visitors arriving by 'plane or train or for those who feel rather daunted by the climb back up our hill, we provide lifts in our Land Rover Defender!

Transportation

Approach Penzance on the A30 and, once at the huge roundabout just before entering the city, take the A30 bypass around Penzance. Continue on the A30 through 3 roundabouts till you get to a left hand turn signposted Newlyn. Turn left and travel along the Coombe till you get to the mix of 3 highways. Turn right onto the B3315 and continue up the hill for half a mile. The Panorama Guest House is on the left, just past Adit Lane. Whether approaching from Land's End, either take the A30 all the way to Buryas Bridge and then take the following right hand turn into Newlyn and follow the instructions above. Or turn right onto the B3315 from the A30 and then follow the highway for approximately seven miles till Newlyn is reached and then the Panorama is on the right just after Chywoone Avenue. There are regular buses from the Penzance Bus StationPenzance Railway Station that travel up Chywoone Hill and will stop on Adit Lane corner by demand. Taxis able to also be hired from outside the train station. The Panorama Guest House will also, by arrangement, collect clients from the bus station, train station and Newquay Airport.
