General Information

Use Keigwin House as your base and take time to discover the Lands End peninsula with its rugged cliffs, sandy beaches and lonely coves. Stay the fishing countrysides of Newlyn and Mousehole with their winding highways and a lot of museums and gift boutiques. Further west along the beach to Porthcurno with its telegraph gallery and the Minack outdoor theatre; take in a show or just wonder at the vision that became the Minack and don’t neglect to look out to sea and you may just find a basking shark or 2. Onwards to Sennen to unwind on its golden sands or take to the water for a cooling soak or even try surfing, before watching the sun set over the Isles of Scilly. Hiking onwards along the north beach you'll get to Pendeen and Botallack steeped in mining heritage. You could stop off at Geevor tin mine for a journey into the past before going on to St Ives with its much publicized Tate Gallery, good haven and a array of gift butiques and galleries, not forgetting the attractive beaches. Back on the south beach a trip to Marazion is a must. Take a wander across the causeway to St Michaels Mount and climb up to stay the cottage and terraces, which cling to the cliffs. The Mount while being part of the National Trust is tranquil home to the St. Aubyn family, as it features been for nearly 350 years.
