Ashton House is a granite Victorian cottage, built around 1900 in the conservation district of Penzance. The proprietors, June and Stewart Kent, have lately refurnished and updated the en-suite visitor bedrooms to a high standard, We are just several minutes stroll away from both the walk and the very heart of city. With quaint side streets, attractive sub-tropical terraces and gardens, Penzance enjoys a mild climate and long hours of sunshine for much of the year. Among a lot of places to stay locally, Newlyn is a tranquil 15/20 mins stroll away, whilst Lamorna, Mousehole and St Michael's Mount are a short ride or bus ride away. Avenue Ives, St Just, Pendeen, Sennen, Lands End, Cape Cornwall and Madron are all within a 10 mile radius of Penzance. Penlee House and Gallery, which features an ongoing exhibition of various artists' business, is exactly several mins away from Ashton House. Our objective is to give a calm base for you to discover this adorable part of West Cornwall. Its infinite range of subject matter, from busy harbours to rocky coastline, wide skies, the ravishing light and milder climate, have been a magnet to artists for centuries.
