Standing in lonely terraces in the calm and lavish countryside of Stainton, we are only three miles from Ullswater, less than a mile from Junction 40 of the M6 and only a pair of mins from the A66 which links the idyllic Northern Lakes of Ullswater, Derwentwater, Buttermere, Crummock Water, Bassenthwaite and others. A cordial reception awaits you in the oak beamed brasserie and breakfast room. In the major brasserie district an immense carte menu is obtainable during all the year offering hot fare or sandwiches and other lunches. The Restaurant proposes neighborly service, just prepared foods from a capacious carte menu, mostly featuring local make, and a superb selection of wines. The seven bedrooms are all en-suite with shower, and provided with colour TV, radio, teacoffee making amenities and straight dial phone. There is an ample safe parking at the back of the guesthouse. We can offer full amenities and providing for all functions, unique occasions and parties, from weddings to meetings, and privately-owned conference rooms are accessible. Transportation

From the M6 Junction 40 take the A66 towards Keswick. At the 1st roundabout (Rheged Roundabout) take the A592 to Ullswater. Approximately a 100 yards turn right towards the countryside of Stainton. After approximately 12 a mile at the crossroads turn left in to the very heart of the countryside. The Brantwood Hotel is on the left handside past the brow of the hill as you pass the countryside lounge. The car parking is at the back of the structure. Drive via the archway to enter the car parking.
