General Information

The Norcroft Guest House is directly a 5-minute amble from Penrith city center, a charming market place city providing a wealthy and charming heritage together with a superior range of boutiques, pubs and restaurants. Penrith is located close to the M6, which makes it an exquisite serene location for those craving to investigate the Lake District and all it can offer. Equally this serene location is perfect as a halfway cottage for those hiking up and down the state. For the vibrant Penrith is situated on the Coast-to-Coast cycle route. We have an option of single, twin, double or family (up to 5 guests) apartments. All suites are en-suite (many with recently refurbished bathrooms), with TV and tea/coffee making service. We have a entire of nine apartments and able to bestow up to 22 persons. The Norcroft is one of the few city center Guest Houses with a comprehensive car parking. We have an available apartment on the 1st floor, freshly fitted out and approved by Eden District Council. Access to the Guest House is through the ramped rear entry. For the 1st meal of the day we provide the conventional full cooked breakfast, or lighter or vegetarian alternatives to suit your needs. Whether you have a specific diet or requirement please let us know and we will try to accommodate you. We can offer packed snacks whether you would like them. The Norcroft features a liquor license so you are able to appreciate an alcoholic or soft drink while relaxing. We have a dwellers hall for visitors to use to meet with other dwellers, watch tv, read or have a drink. On entering Penrith continue down the hill towards the city center At the base of the hill you enter a one-way system. Visit in the left-hand lane Take left turn up Portland Place. At the mini roundabout turn left and you are able to see the Norcroft Guesthouse 400 yards in facade. Our car parking is at the rear of the cottage.
