Transportation

By Car - five miles North of Peebles, 20 miles South of Edinburgh on the A703. From Edinburgh, leave City By-Pass on A701A703 heading for Penicuik. Follow signs for A703 (Peebles). On entering Eddleston, The Horseshoe Inn will be on your left hand side. To get to the car parking, take the 2nd left as the 1st left is an intimate lane beside the major building. From the South (M6) From M6 continue onto A74 (M), signs for GlasgowEdinburghDumfries. At mix 15 take the A701 exit to DumfriesBeattockSelkirkA708. At the roundabout take the first exit onto A701 heading to CarlisleA74 (M)MoffatSelkirkA708. After around 23 miles take a right onto the B712 then round to the left staying on the B712. Turn right onto A72 then left onto Old Manse Road; continue on this highway then take a left onto A703, the inn is situated on your right hand side.
